こんにちは、私の名前はソフィア・ストーンです。4年前に、現在住んでいるカリブ海に浮かぶトリニダード・トバゴの自然の癒しや恵みに触発され、夢であったカリビアンキュアを設立した創業者です。

 

　自然のものを使ってヒーリングティーを作ることへの愛は、ずっと昔の子供の頃に、母がキッチンでハーブやルートをグリーンティーに混ぜて、新しい香りやユニークで美味しいブレンドティーを作り、それらを近所の人や母の友人がほぼ毎日家に寄って楽しんでいるのを見ていたのが始まりです。母のブレンドティーが作り出した愛、安らぎ、コミュニティーは私に大きな影響を与えました。そしてそれが、後にカリブの自然に囲まれて生活する中でも大きく影響するのでした…そう、私が進むべき道ははっきりしていました。

 

　それから、ハーブ、ルートや樹皮を使って、みんながもっと欲しくなるようなアロマティックで自然で健康的なブレンドティーを作るよう試行し始めました。また、私のミッションは、実家で何十年にも渡って受け継がれてきた方法をコミュニティに共有し、自然の力を使い、生活の一部として健康やウェルネスを育むことでした。

 

　私のブレンドティーが周囲で評判になっていくにつれ、それをビジネスに発展させることができ、また、ナチュラルティーに対して私と同じくらいの情熱を持つパートナーに出会えたのは幸運でした。

 

その後、パートナーであるステイシー・シータラムと私は、私たちの自然のカリブのお茶を世界中の人々に広めるというミッション、夢をスタートさせたのでした。

 

　私たちは今までの仕事を辞め、長年培ってきた知識や情熱を、自然で健康的で美味しいお茶に関心のある世界中の人々に広めるため、フルタイムでカリビアンキュアの仕事に従事するようになりました。

　3年前、その夢は人生を変えるほどの日本旅行へ私を導いてくれました。日本に行く前から、日本に関するとても素敵な話をたくさん聞いていたのですが、実際に来てみると本当に夢が叶ったように感じ、たくさんのことに刺激を受けました。日本の自然とお茶文化に対する深い尊敬の念が私に強く働きかけてきて、私の中で何かがきらめき、その後、年に2回も日本へ引き戻したのでした。

 

　日本はとても素晴らしい場所で、世界でも私の好きな国です。日本の人々は高品質、健康的、そして自然の製品を評価すると信じており、私の心を奪い私の家族と私にとってこれからもずっと特別なこの国で、私のこの愛すべきブレンドティーを共有できることは、私の究極の夢が叶うということです。

 

　カリブで毎日の健康やウェルネスに生活の一部として愛用されているこの特別なブレンドハーブティーを、日本のみなさまにも楽しんでもらいたい…そして私たちは何事もシンプルに、そして良いティーはあなたを元気にすると信じています…自然に！

　Hello, my name is Sophia Stone and I am the founder of Caribbean Cure, a tea company born from a dream 4 years ago inspired by the beautiful natural healing bounty of the country I live in, Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean.

　

　My love for using nature to create healing teas began many years ago as a child, watching my mother mix herbs and roots into her green tea in the kitchen to create new fragrant, unique and delicious blends that neighbours and friends would stop by for almost daily. The love, comfort and community that her blends had created impacted me in a powerful way and later in life, when I was surrounded by the Caribbean's bounty of natural ingredients…the path before me was clear.  

　

　I began experimenting with the herbs, roots, flowers and barks and coming up with aromatic, natural and healthy tea blends that everyone seemed to want more of. My mission was to share with my community the methods I had used in my home for decades and use the power of nature to foster good health and wellness as a part of daily routine.

　　

　As my tea blends grew more and more popular, I expanded into business and was lucky to find a partner who was as passionate as I was about natural teas.

　

　My partner Stacy Seeterram and I then began a mission to share our natural Caribbean teas with the rest of the world.  We quit our jobs and made Caribbean Cure our full time mission in life, to spread the knowledge and passion we had developed over the years with people around the world who cared about natural, healthy and delicious tea!

　3 years ago that dream took me to Japan for a life changing trip. I had heard a lot of wonderful things about Japan before visiting but being there was a real dream come true and inspired me in so many ways. The deep respect in Japanese culture for both nature, tea and community spoke to me so powerfully and sparked something inside me that brought me back twice each year after.

 

　Japan is an incredible place and my favourite country in the whole world. I believe Japanese people appreciate high quality, healthy and natural products and it is my ultimate dream come true to share my beloved tea blends in Japan, a country that has stolen my heart and will forever be a special place for my family and I for the rest of our lives.

 

　I hope you enjoy these special blends as much as we do here in the Caribbean and use them as part of you daily health and wellness routine...we like to keep things simple and believe that good tea always makes you feel better...naturally!
